Welcome to my About Me page! Let me introduce myself. I'm Sparky, a 24 year old tech enthusiast, programmer, website writer/developer, GMod "artist," and full-time giant nerdy fox. I identify as a cis-gendered gay male, whose pronouns are He/Him or They/Them. I've been a part of the Furry fandom since I was around 14 to 15 years old and a homosexual since around the same time. I work in the hospitality/hotel industry, currently as a GSA/Night Auditor and working towards becoming a GM.
Current Interests and Hobbies
-
Retro/Vintage Computers and Technology:
Not the most original thing to be into as being a part of gen-z, but whatever! Both an interest due to nostalgia and admiring the progression of computing, software, video games, and gadgets as the years go by. I'm subscribed to many Retro/Vintage tech channels on YouTube and sometimes get caught down a rabbit hole of old video games, 80's pc clones, dumb terminals, etc. and so forth. I one day want to go to a retro computing convention and see it in person rather than through a computer monitor. And, when I have some money and my own space, start a retro computing collection complete with older systems and shelves displaying big box software and CD/DVD cases.

Programming:
I don't do too much programming now that I'm out of grade school and not taking anymore computer science focused classes. But in a way, making this site is kinda programming, although HTML isn't programming on a technical level (HTML is often mistaken as a programming language, but is actually a markup language, hence the "ML" in the abbreviation). I have knowledge in Python, C, and Java. Mostly in Java as that is the language I used the most in high school and college classes. I know a little JavaScript too, but have not used it too much on my site.
-
Virtual Machines:
I like using virtual machines for a variety of purposes. Virtual machines are computer systems that are completely virtual and run on top of your physical computer. I have VMs that run Windows XP or 98 so that I can run legacy software, for example, to run older versions of web browsers and see how my website looks and if it’s functional. I also like to test linux distros in VMs as a closed testing environment without having to make bootable USB drives and booting them on my main PC. Since I daily drive Kubuntu on my main PC, I use Windows VMs to run software that I can't get working through wine or proton.
-
GMod Posters:
The term "Poster" is the name of the final product or screenshot of a scene made in either GMod or Source Filmmaker. Similar to a 3D artist's render or a traditional artist's sketch, painting, etc. I've been making posters in GMod off and on since 2018, and started to post my work online in 2023. I primarily make SFW adult furry works using my own OCs or characters downloaded off the workshop.
-
Video Games:
I've played video games since as long as I can remember. I primarily play on PC, as this is where I have the largest library of games. My all time favorite games or series for each system that I own are (and in no particular order):
-
